Premium Extra Package

 

Packages are sold on a per cruise basis and not a per day or any other basis. Pricing applies to each day of the cruise, except for disembarkation day. Once activated on board, packages cannot be terminated or refunded. Packages must be booked by all guests occupying the same cabin. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked. Packages are not obligatory for infants. The following exclusions apply: tobacco, souvenir glasses, ice cream menu, retail items, minibar, room service and promotions. Other conditions & terms may apply. Beverages and liquors may be substituted based on availability and itinerary.
Package is not applicable at selected thematic bars.
As part of MSC Cruises' ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are reducing single-use plastic items, including water bottles. AQUA by MSC is a mineral-enriched drinking water produced on board from desalinated sea water using advanced purification technology. AQUA combines purity with essential minerals like magnesium and potassium to deliver a crisp, refreshing taste. Available on some ships, with gradual rollout across the fleet.

Minors Package

 

The Minors Package is applicable for minors (age respective of the country/operation area) who are part of a family purchasing an adult Easy, Alcohol-free, or Premium Extra package.
Other conditions & terms corresponds to inclusions and exclusions in the connected adult's package.

Are beverage packages available on all sailings, fleetwide?

Yes, pre-paid drink packages are available on all MSC Cruises ships, excluding ships sailing in South Africa.

Do the drinks included in drinks packages vary depending on the ships, destinations or seasons? 

Yes, the brand of the products varies depending on destination and season.

Which beverage packages are available for my cruise? 

The following packages are available:

• Minors Package

Packages must be booked by all guests occupying the same cabin, traveling together and wishing to dine at the same table.

I purchased my beverage package before October 1st, 2025. What happens now?

New beverage packages will be introduced in summer 2026. Guests who purchased a beverage package before October 1st, 2025, for cruises sailing on summer 2026 onwards, will continue to receive the service associated with their original package. Starting October 1st, 2025, only the new beverage packages will be available for purchase for cruises sailing on summer 2026 onwards.

What drink package is included in the MSC Yacht Club?

The Premium Extra Package is included with the MSC Yacht Club experience on all cruises. Please note: In line with our responsible drinking policies, a daily limit of 15 alcoholic beverages per guest applies both within and outside the exclusive MSC Yacht Club area. Within the Yacht Club, guests can enjoy the alcoholic beverages of their package without any restrictions.

I booked a Grand Voyages cruise or an MSC World Cruise. Is there any drinks package included?

MSC Grand Voyages

On Grand Voyages cruises the packages are not included per default but may vary according to your travel agency offer/promotion.

MSC World Cruise

On MSC World Cruise the Dine & Drinks package is included. It includes: house wines, draught beer, soft drinks, and still and sparkling water, available during lunch and dinner in the main restaurants and buffet. The Premium Extra Package, Non Alcoholic Package and Minors can be purchased separately. 

Can drinks packages be used on MSC private islands?

Yes, the Premium Extra Package can be consumed on the Ocean Cay island and on Sir Bani Yas in Emirates. The island’s beverage offering may not include the full onboard beverage selection. The Non-Alcoholic Package are not accepted on private islands. Minors Packages exclusions are connected to the adult's package.

Can I purchase a drink package before my cruise?

Yes, all drink packages can be purchased before your cruise. Discounts may vary based on seasonal offers or special promotions. Please note that for cruises to the Caribbean, North America, and Alaska, the Easy and Easy Plus packages are only available for pre-cruise purchase and cannot be bought onboard.

Are gratuities included in the drinks package cost?

Yes. All MSC Cruises' pre-paid and onboard beverage packages include gratuities.

Will alcohol be served on cruises calling on Saudi Arabian ports?

In compliance with Saudi Arabian law, alcohol will not be served while the ship is docked at Saudi Arabian ports. Alcohol will be available when the ship is in international waters.

If an adult purchases a beverage package, are underage guests required to purchase one as well?

Yes, underage guests are required to purchase the Minors Package in conjunction with an adult beverage package.

Which packages can be used in Specialty Restaurants?

  • Premium Extra Package
  • Minors Package (if the family/group has purchased Premium Extra Package).
 

Can I upgrade my beverage package?

Guests will be able to upgrade their beverage packages to the Premium Extra Package prior to embarkation, and also directly on board. 

What happens when I reach my 15-alcoholic drink per day maximum?

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, we have updated our Beverage Package to include a maximum of 15 alcoholic drinks per day, per guest. This change is designed to promote responsible enjoyment and to enhance the quality of service. Once a guest has consumed 15 drinks within a 24hrs period, measured from 06:00-06:00, they will be able to purchase drinks at the full menu price.

What happens if I have already purchased an all-inclusive beverage package and I request a date change to a cruise date after the beginning of summer 2026 season?

New all-inclusive packages will be available at the new pricing and conditions.
